A Tru Place

Supporting mothers. Strengthening families. Building futures.

Creating access to practical resources, peer support, family-strengthening programs, and pathways toward lasting stability.

Who We Are

A Trú Place primarily serves single Black mothers and their children in Los Angeles who are navigating poverty, housing instability, and systemic barriers.

While our doors remain open to all families in need, our programs are intentionally designed to address the unique challenges disproportionately impacting Black mothers and to create pathways toward long-term stability, self-sufficiency, and generational success.

What We Do

  • Resource Navigation App ( LA & Orange County)

  • Workforce & Employment Program Support

  • Education & Enrollment Guidance

  • Mother-Daughter Tea Experiences

  • Tap-in Tuesdays (Monthly Support Circles)

  • Ready.Sit.Reset (program initiative)

  • Rylee's Kloset ( Free Community Boutique)

Why It Matters

We are building a centralized access point for real support — eliminating the gap between families in need and the resources available to them.

"Self-worth is Self-first"
